Ilaria Bagarolo is an artist active in the fields of dance and performance.

When dance meets contemporary art: 'Bacon' (1993) and 'Mapplethorpe' (2002), two choreographic works by Ismael Ivo, is the title of the research that intertwines dance with painting and photography, and with which Ilaria graduated from Ca' Foscari University of Venice.

Her experience as an interpreter and performer ranges from Italian opera to vertical dance through performance art and more traditional contemporary dance; she collaborates with KINKALERI, Nico Vascellari, Compagnia Virgilio Sieni, Andrigo/Aliprandi, Tecnologia Filosofica, Vest&Page, and others. 

In 2023 she developed three authorial works: POLO, a screendance work, which won the Best Storytelling award in La Danza in un Minuto by Coorpi and which was selected and screened at Fuori Formato Festival, Corpo Sensibile Festival, IperCorpo, Hangarfest, MirabiliaFestival, Performare Festival, SDA#3 - WUPPERTAL; O, performance, supported by the Offenen Studios 2023 residency of Tanztendenz München e.V.; # 0ENTER, a project by the Turin collective TastierAcorpi of which she is part, wins C𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘉𝘭𝘶 | 𝘛.𝘙.𝘈.𝘔. |𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘰 𝘓𝘪𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘪𝘢, 2024.

She is currently a Dance Well teacher at Lavanderia a Vapore (TO), and certified as professional masseuse.
